Am I the only one who cannot imagine a week without some sweet treats? 🤭🍫 Life is simpler sweeter!

Joking aside, all is good in balance as always and simply listening to your body... nothing tastes as good as when enjoyed without negative consequences! 🙏🏻 For example, personally sugar intake does not affect my face (likely thanks to long term tolerance 🤣🤣) while I know others who break out with a mere chocolate bar!

That being said, personally I have experienced 5 months without "sweets" in the past and it did wonders to my energy levels (and waist) but I definitely was missing out on too much to continue that 😅 now everything in balance, I have a small stomach but tend to take a sweet treats around 4-5 times a week but keep it very small on heavier days hehe

Sweet and savoury AND international-inspired brioches? They have all 👇🏻🍞🤭

I will be honest, I am usually not a fan of brioches (too plain, heavy, and similar) but this new spot has converted me 😁 @bryo.ch create (and frequently refresh) a wide range of delish and super hearty sweet and savoury brioches with goobal flavours- you can travel from Ireland to Greece with their creations! 🥰🌍 Not only this, their creations maybbe big and hearty but their brioches are fermented extensively so are easier to digest (I wouldn't have been able to take more than one otherwise) 🥹🫶🏻 I super recommend passing by as they have something for whatever craving, a super cozy ambiance, and lovely service 😊🥰

I promise I don't have a sweets problem, or wait that sounds like something a sweets addict will say... hm maybe @solene.mtln is right 🤣🍫🤭

Joking aside, the sweet swiss does not just live on sweets and actually has a bit of a small appetite (thank goodness), but no matter your food taste it is extremely important to enjoy but also choose what you enjoy thoughtfully 🥹🫶🏻 Therefore you cannot blame me for freeing up my stomach to feast while with a good friend and at @elevencoffee_vevey... they have so many homemade treats! It was my first time at this famous specialty matcha and coffee spot (somehow people from Geneva and even Fribourg know this spot 🤣) and I fell in love with the extremely cozy and personal ambiance 🥹✨

I have yettt to try any matcha at all however I can highly recommend their rich bittersweet hot chocolate, pistachio babka, and delish chocolatey banana bread cake! 🤭🍫

No sweet tooth should miss this adorable spot when in Basel! 🍰👇🏻😍

It was by mere coincidence that I discovered @creamcakery.ch while on instagram... and now have a new go-to spot in Basel 🤭🥰 Hidden in a lovely shop with a variety of fun artisanal home items and foodie products, Cream Cakery is the first spot I found specialising in cheesecakes! Not only this, they offer a variety of other fun homemade savouries and sweets to suit your cravings! 😍🥯 They also have a super fun cozy seating area upstairs as well as their scenic outdoor seating, which is a bit of a rarity around here. But onto the important bit- all I tried tasted amazing and the cheesecake was SO rich!! 🫠 I thought I would buy another but I definitely had no space for that 🤣

Switzerland may be famous for chocolate, but what actually makes it "so good"? 👇🏻🍫🇨🇭

First of all... does Swiss chocolate deserve its reputation? Well the majority export to import ratio as well as surveys done seem to show so! 🤭✏️ On a personal level I think so because general Swiss chocolate- even from budget brands- shows universal quality chocolate characteristics, such as shininess from good tempering, while I often don't see this in other countries' chocolates 🍫🥹

And what actually makes Swiss chocolate so good?

⚖️ Strict quality rules
